Asia

In 2008 we opened our Shanghai office, followed by Hong Kong and Shenzhen in 2009 and Ningbo in May 2011.

Hong Kong is the traditional gateway to Asia, while Shanghai provides access to the huge cargo catchment of Central and Northern China. Being southern China's major financial centre, Shenzhen is also the second busiest port in mainland China, ranking only after Shanghai.

Our Shanghai office achieved 'A' Class licence accreditation in November 2009, and our Shenzhen office 'A' Class licence was granted in November 2010. Transtar acquired its NVOCC licence throughout China in May 2009.

Our commitment to the region is demonstrated by our recent opening of branch offices in Ningbo in July 2011, Qingdao and Singapore in September 2011 and Bangkok in March 2012.

Australia/New Zealand

Established in 1986, the Port Melbourne Group headquarters provides administration and accounting services to all our offices. Customs clearance services and delivery of shipments to customers’ premises are also managed from Port Melbourne.

Previously based at Tullamarine and created in 1998, the Derrimut office opened in 2010 and offers a dedicated cargo handling and bonded warehouse facility to compliment airfreight services.

Opened in 1991, our Sydney branch has recently moved to a new facility in Riverwood that offers a full service logistics capability combining sea and air import/export, licensed customs broking and bonded warehouse.

Positioned in Australia’s major growth corridor, our Brisbane office opened in 1999. Along with New Zealand, opened in 2006, and Fremantle, opened in 2010, these offices offer full sea, air and logistics capability.
